The Biological Sciences Division at the University of Chicago is conducting a division-wide, open-rank faculty search, and I wanted to bring our Cancer Biology and Immunology search to your attention specifically (encompassing all cancer biology, all immunology, and everything in between) . We are recruiting across a genuinely broad range of research areas, including:
- Tumor microenvironment and cancer–immune ecology
- T-cell, NK-cell, B-cell, and myeloid-cell biology
- Cancer metabolism and immunometabolism
- Microbiome, virome, and host–microbe interactions
- Tissue immunity, inflammation, and tumor biology
- Cancer initiation, progression, metastasis, and immune escape
- Aging and immunosenescence in cancer
- Neuroimmune regulation in cancer and immunity
- Engineered immunity, CAR/TCR/NK-cell platforms, and synthetic immunology
- Spatial, systems, and computational approaches to cancer and immunology
- Vaccine biology, antigen discovery, and immune recognition
- Immune monitoring, biomarker discovery, and mechanisms of therapeutic response
We welcome candidates at all ranks, from rising stars to established leaders, working on fundamental discovery or translational and clinical research.
